Tegami Bachi: The Right Niche!
Lag Seeing's journey to becoming a full-fledged Letter Bee has been rocky. Letter Bees are a group of brave messengers that keep the citizens of Amberground connected by delivering letters. After starting as a "letter" himself, delivered by Gauche Suede, Lag learns firsthand the importance of a Letter Bee. Now determined to follow in his hero Gauche's footsteps, Lag must find his way to the city of Yuusari, where his Letter Bee interview awaits.
But first, Lag must find a willing dingo to become his partner. A dingo can be anything, as long as it is devoted to helping its Letter Bee partner fight off gigantic insects known as Gaichuu. With time running out, Lag may have found his dingo through a chance encounter with a neglected "letter" at the Aithon Coal Mine Station.
Glaring at him from inside a niche at the station is a curious girl with golden hair and sea-blue eyes. Because the delivery form stuck to her arm is incomplete, she was abandoned. Lag decides to call her Niche in honor of the place where he first found her.
The Letter Bee-Dingo Relationship
Lag discovers that Niche is the alleged Child of Maka, a legendary beast. Although Lag never intended for Niche to be his dingo, he changes his mind during their journey across Amberground and into Yuusari. Together they develop a tight-knit relationship, one that definitely has its ups and downs!

Relationship Down...
When Lag and Niche first set out together, they encounter a rock snake that Lag mistakes for a Gaichuu. Because he panics, Lag can't draw his gun in time. Luckily for him, Niche disposes of the creature herself.

Relationship Up!
In his first attempt to get Niche to wear underpants, Lag compliments Niche and calls her "pretty." Since she is starting to trust him more and more, she decides to wear the offered underpants. |

Relationship Down...
Lag has reservations in taking Niche along with him to Yuusari. Because he thinks it's too dangerous for Niche to be his dingo, he offers to send her back to his home in Cambel Litus. Niche doesn’t respond too well to Lag's overprotectiveness… |

Relationship Up!
After helping Lag recover his stolen crossing pass to get into Yuusari, Niche has earned the right to be called his dingo! Together they cross the bridge into Yuusari and the world of Letter Bees! |
